suzuki Beets and omori orange ipa

The IPA of our second batch of beer uses beets grown once again by Suzuki-san and orange peels from the oranges grown here in Omori.

I had the brewer increase the bitterness of the IPA this time around and put as much orange peels in the beer as he could. This resulted in a very citrus forward beer which had strong notes of grapefruit. Yet unlike typical IPA’s that leave that bitter tingle on the back of the mouth, our IPA has a very refreshing aftertaste thanks to the plum flower yeast fermentation process.

I would recommend drinking this IPA’s from these new IPA glasses made specially for this style of beer. The ridges at the bottom. agitates the beer every time you take a swig bringing back the fragrances that have mellowed out. Chill this thing as much as you can and have it for the first drink at the barbecue with grilled meats and vegetables!
