This is our Yuzu American Wheat, which uses the peel of yuzu grown here in Omori.

Yuzu are a native citrus here in Japan and has a fragrance similar to grapefruit, but a little more herbal in a flowery way. This winter we had an abundance of yuzu so I decided to peel and vacuum seal them for future use.

Those who have previously tried my beer told me that this one was probably the most balanced and the tastiest as well. This beer was quite light and zesty and had a little kick of bitterness at the very end from the hops. It’s sort of a perfect everyday beer for anybody.

I would pair this perhaps with simple dishes without too many complicated flavors, like comfort food.
